And the hammer drops...

A scene from the fulcrum point of the Polemos arc (episodes 12-13), the point at which the "war" moves from deadly, yet controlled theater to all out apocalyptic proportions. Indus, long in a throwback semi "civilized" and "ordered" conflict with Polemos has now completely broken the various treaties that has governed the primarily FOIL-centric conflict for some time. Now things have moved from geological trade and ideologically driven dispute to full scale invasion and siege of Polemos by Indus and mysterious forces behind the scenes.

The battle for Polemos is something of epic scale with the planet being attacked by new anti FOIL combat frames and until this point unknown weaponry.

The scene here is a remaining quad walker AA tank firing at what would be a frightening "unknown" to the military forces of Polemos and the Vulne Consortium. The green beam coming from the unknown has scored a direct hit on a treaded tank utterly obliterating it in one shot. This piece was created by salvaging an element from another piece (of the siege as well) that originally had the quad tank but I felt it was better served to remove and turn it into a new piece. There will be more glimpses of this pivotal battle for Polemos , including FOILs in combat, coming in the future. Black Son refers to Indus, The Eye of Sol.
