Auaris SOMR FOIL line work by VulnePro Auaris SOMR FOIL line work by VulnePro
The line art for the Ileman-Loch Auaris SOMR FOIL. This was a pencil illustration with digital ink clean up finish. It was originally posted, exclusively, on the Vulne Pro blog for a time.

Cell color version here: [link]

More work pending...

Cheers!

While I'm glad you dig the design I'd prefer you not do it as a Pimp my Gun.

Fan art, or designs inspired by the project and referring back to the project, are fine but, if I understand pimp my gun right, taking the design as a platform for endless variations, it was never intended for, I'd prefer not to encourage. If I have that wrong, by all means correct me but I think I have the idea based on what the site says and my cursory familiarity with it. I'm sure you understand why I'd want to maintain control over my I.P. and know there's no implied disrespect to that art movement.

If you want to do your own vector art or illo of the gun, as long as you note what it's based on linking back here, totally cool, just not as a piece others can alter from there producing derivative works.

Theos is a project we've put a lot of work into and want to maintain the I.P. branding as a distinctly Vulne Pro copyrighted work.

not sure what to make of that. People could only re-use and alter it if I posted the code, which I don't do for works based on other people's IP OBVIOUSLY.
Here's one I made based on a design of yours before [link] I would hope you would be broad minded enough to appreciate tributes WHATEVER medium they're produced in...

Nope, not a problem with that as you explained it. As I said, by all means correct me if I was wrong as I wasn't fully versed on how the code (or that it's reliant on a code in order to collage new designs, again I just have a rough understanding here) and site works. No problem then, as far as I'm concerned. I never assumed you meant anything wrong by it, just wasn't sure how that site worked so thanks for clearing it up as I rarely ask for clarity on this kind of stuff.

Aye, I have no issue with any medium a tribute is produced in and I'm always happy to see that interest, so it's all good. Nice job on the rifle, by the way. I did see that one before.

No offence intended man.

sorry man, my reply was a bit hostile, I admit. Drunk-posting, I'm afraid! Also the dramas we've had about PMG and people looking down on it have made us all a bit defensive.

I totally understand where you're coming from about the IP, I always make sure I give full credit when I remake other people's stuff, and link back to it, and while I usually post the codes for my PMGs so other people can use them, I don't post the codes for other's designs.

I'm the admin of the Flickr PMG group, and we're very strict about giving proper credit for inspiration.
