An image art of a project we had going on last summer that, for the moment, has been shelved due to the flood of other work rolling in. This image is also from the same project [link]
This is a character nameed "Savage Savage"... what part of Savage Savage don't you understand? Tee hee. Clearly there’s a little humor in the title. As can be seen he's sportin' a rather scary ass Colt Python 357 magnum. The image was fun doing all the crazy crap all over the wall. As nuts as that is it's pretty much classic Detroit look though I made up this location as it's a rather simple shot. As a static image the background visual noise gets in the way somewhat but animated the scene would work better as the character would be moving. What can I say, I went bananas with all that stuff LOL I should note that much of the source images for the multiple posters came from old 40s and 50s "Men's" magazines. Those mags are some of the most hilariously silly, and obnoxious, stuff you're ever going to see. I aloso need to note that some of the graff tags, the black sharpie looking ones, were done by Credit where credit is due.
As for the character he's a rather loopy hit man based on one of my good friends This pretty much looks like Tim spot on This project was to be set in Detroit in 2042 and during the summer we all, Tim included on occasion, did extensive photo shoots of the city for reference. I must admit it was a blast. More work is coming, in fact a pile of Theos Ke Polemos stuff soon.
Hey there, thanks for the comments. Yeah sorry there hasn't been a lot of new stuff, more of the work I did over the summer is under non disclosure agreements. I just posted a batch of work from one of the projects we did, Terran Trade Authority so you can check those out. That said, there is new work on the way Hopefully you'll be seeing it soon. It's nice to know folks are looking forward to anything new, makes the efforts worthwhile as it give us an idea of how it might go over in the marketplace
Right back atcha That's a rather nice hello I hope work's not eating up too much of your time, so long as you're still having fun it's all good. Good to see yo ustill round DA, I hope to be posting more often myself. Cheers!
