FOIL head concepts

Another example of that early, older, batch of CG sketches. We have 2 more FOIL head concepts, these moving a little more into the feel the new stuff has. They’re both still reminiscent of familiar classic and modern mecha designs, and that’s ok to a degree I think overall as I have no problem tipping my hat to that a little. In the end I plan to keep pushing the new stuff into a familiar yet unique look and feel. The top one is obviously the illo I have used for my FOIL “boo!” Deviant Avatar I rather like the top one, it’s more dinosaur like which was is the primary inspiration for the base concept of the FOILs, everything launched from there and it’s always good when you arrive somewhere unexpected.
