Another new pair of sendai of SOL.
Sendai frequently do gain their freedom and can live as free sendai both on Indus and more commonly Polemos.
The predominant attitudes on Indus toward sendai is the view they're simply tools of labor and commerce for humanity to exploit, however not every human carries those feelings. Depending on the situation indenturement contracts can vary in thier structure and the severity of servitude. Some humans (though the minority on Indus) prefer to set up contracts which are mutually beneficial to both parties and often these situations will lead to the sendai either becoming free or reasonably self autonomous while still on retainer to a human owner.
As noted in various previous posts the sendai are frequently engaged in gambling in order to shave off years in their indenturement contracts. The biggest form of this gambling is, of course, betting on the Polemon with Indus war. Wagers typically focus on FOIL crew favorites but bets can be made on pretty much any minutia of the war. Sendai can, and often do, gain their freedom this way but gambling, being what it is, there's always great risk that can lead to a hole they can never dig out of.
These two sendai here look somewhat dignified in their sense of self image and, we can guess, are doing reasonably well in their freedom. The sendai on the right is another Täppco model sporting their signature bakelite style radio-head.
Indeed more to come!
Cheers!

LUV UR DRAWWSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Rico's voice was low and threatening, like hearing an already sharp blade being pulled over a sharpening stone. His goons must have heard the tone of menace and they got even more attentive. No 10 credit knifers or shooters here, upper drawer goons, heck maybe they were making more money than me. The chill from Rico's 5 eyes went even cooler.
Again, I thought, why did I leave the travel agency?
Then I thought of her, those eyes pleading for release and I got it together. Gotta think fast or I might not be able to walk out of this room alive. Then again its a classy place to die but I rather die in bed with some hot women and whiskey.
The artwork is probably all original, no knockoffs here but there was a coldness about it. Seen more warmth at the fishmarket. Rico could walk away from this stuff if he had to and not look back.
I took a deep breath and threw caution to the winds and went for it...
Looks great.
That said, who's to say a robot wouldn't smoke... or be programmed to do so
