Ileman-Loch Tromos Myti FOILby *VulnePro

It’s been crazy busy of late so I haven’t been able to work on these guys quite as much as I like but here’s a new one none the less. Expect more to come for sure though. This guy’s a weird one and from a new company in the setting: Ileman-Loch. This companies FOILs tend to have a more natural visual appearance with some artisan design aesthetics sprinkled in as well but overall less stylistically driven visually than the Jeindel Gavil FOILs and their heavy Futurist vibe. Clearly the machine is even more leaning in an almost Pterodactyl look to it with its crazy head design. The FOIL’s name “Tromos Myti’ means Terrible Beak in Greek, seemed an amusing name to give it. Also, since quite a few of you asked, “what does FOIL mean” it’s an acronym actually…

Faedai: The engineered racial strain of sendai that are created specifically for piloting these giant armor frames.
Omni: directional movement of 360 degrees due to the enigmatic…
Icar: The Icar drive, an antigravitic devise in all FOILs which allow these titanic machines flight and balance stability and other strange properties.
Leviathan: The final (coined by the shadowy antagonist agency in the story behind a great deal of things) designation for FOILs, the re-imagining ancient creatures of myth.

I thought I had posted something about this before but indeed I guess I hadn’t. There you go, that’s what it means.

said it looked like a Skeksis from The Dark Crystal. I pretty much just let my pencil do the talking when I did the thumb rough for this guy so it was pretty much what was in my empty head at the time... weirdness and dinos I guess

Wow, that is a great looking mecha. Reminds me of ZOE, i'm guessing that's where you got your inspiration from for this certain piece. It is an ultra sleek looking mecha, good job!

This one's neat! I like the new visual style for this FOIL. Futurism is a neat style, and this looks impressive.
