A quick Wacom rough for a new FOIL. I have several new machines pending posting, mostly the full digital paints in finished form, all of them are Jeindel types. I hope to bang out a bunch more rough ones like this as well.

The Jeindel FOILs are evolving into a fixed head cowling aesthetic and as such are distinct from some of the other FOIL manufacturers. Though this one isn’t one of Jeindel’s Gavil line of FOILs (The Gavil FOILs all have the fixed armored heads with full optic coverage for field of vision) it still employs a semi fixed head. The face plate will have some limited movement but the ability for the heads to move doesn’t affect performance in the field. I kinda dig this one’s weird vibe. For a quick name I gave it OVO after Peter Gabriel's Millennium concert. More to come…

I like how aggressive-but-sleek this one looks. It looks like it\'d tear you a new one... but with style!

Thanks a lot, glad you like it :) It was definitely supposed to evoke precisely that.

Theos.....ok, God....ke...don't remember....

Polemos? Polemos....polemon? God of War? That sounds right....

Looks great! Bulky yet elegant.

God and War

Ke is used for the word "and" as is Kai it seems. Admittedly when I researched it all I found was ke for the word "and" but later found kai to be more common. Rather than worry about changing that it's remained Theos Ke Polemos which I believe is still correct usage.

Thanks for the comments on the design, that's the kind of impressions, and more, I'm shooting for.

Thank you :) Yeah I love that kind of look as well and I find this a rather fast and loose approach I will be doing often. Though I do the detailed full digital paints on some of the concepts I will certainly be doing more like this because it's simply a faster route to express the ideas.
