KOTO n POTO taedai

Though posts have been sporadic I've been busy with a lot of work behind the scenes. Indeed more to come. For now here's a few pieces until next round. Some freelance is pending so I wrapped these last night.

Here we have a quick monochrome presentation of two main side characters in TKP based on Indus. They are two mini taedus units, named Koto and Poto respectively (yes a gag nod to Kodo and Podo the wacky key stealing Ferrets from the movie 'The Beastmaster'). Mini taedai are often animalistic in nature though still exceedingly intelligent and communicate in English to their human use partners. Maybe a better way to put it is they assume a role similar to a pet only they're primary functionally still a police/private investigations system. These little turtle like spider bots are used for intelligence gathering and their shell is swappable for various systems and add-ons (more on that in a future posting of these two). When in the domestic setting these two do indeed act in a fashion similar to a dog or cat, only with the added directness of speech. In a police setting they are very effective at assuming the various roles they were intended for and can even carry weapons (one of the add-ons) to assume a combat/defensive role, which is what taedus unites are; Telepathic Defense Systems.
