One of a coming batch of current new FOIL concepts for Theos Ke Polemos.

This is the pure version of the Lavess Soso Gallas C-16. This one’s an odd looking yet elegant machine and if you’re looking for symmetry, you’re not going to find it here. The company that makes this FOIL, Lavess Soso, is a specialized team of artisans (some slightly mad) who design their FOILs as one of a kind units exotic walking sculpture, no mass produced body types here. The inspiration or notion of this design’s aesthetics is the art movement Futurism, a style of painting closely associated with Cubism. Futurism was about the idea of industry, applying the notion of movement to a static image. No this FOIL isn’t pure Futurism, it’s more a suggestion of because the future setting has a fractured sense of history. The Armor looks as if it was sculpted, like clay, well that’s because it is a form of super hard ceramic. The chipping shows light tan underneath due to the ceramics, if this FOIL had a metal armor you’d see something more metal in color of course. Lavess Soso FOILs are renowned for their aesthetic boldness.

Thank you again and thank you kindly for the many favs :) I imagine it will conjur some comparison to Eva, once you're doing bio-mecha the Eva shadow is there. This wasn't inspired by Eva though, it was the fine arts movement of Futurism, as I said in the listing.

The background works so well with the color choices here. The matte surfaces and desaturated colors are a pleasing departure from most glossy/chromed, primary color designs that we commonly see for mecha.

Thank you kindly. I plan to avoid as much of the "typical" mech look as possible so I appreciate the comments on this one, unconvential clearly was the intent.

Again my thanks :) I like how this one turned out and it's the first of a pending batch of new designs, many of which should be pretty unusual.
