And finally, the first of a pair of color pieces I did for the Masters Saga book for Palladium (Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross). I actually did 4 color cell shaded color pseudo anime screen shots for the book. The pieces do appear in the book but they're all printed rather small and are grayscale, as I provided both gray and CMYK files.

I wanted the colors and BGs to have that same feel and vibe that the original 80s show had. The scenes I did are not actually in the show, of course, but meant to look like they might have been... albeit with slightly more pimped digital colors

Totally awesome! Definitely reminds me of a scene from the actual show! I used to watch the Macross and Masters sagas on a regular basis back in the 80s. Those were two of the best anime shows of the 80s.
