... an atmospheric processing plant garrison town. Air raid sirens begin to wail and add to the growing cacophony of chaotic sounds. Flares are fired off into the air as the cities defensive artillery turrets blast away at something in the distance. Exotic weapons begin to rain down destruction as Polemos falls into chaos. The Black Son has broken the treaties and a full blown siege by unknown forces, assumed to be from Indus, begins. This will be a long and terrible day.
This version also has some slight edits, namely making sure the little Policer A.P.C. truck's lights were actually on as the one I sent Evan I accidentally forgot to activate that layer.
Winter scenes are always fun but tricky to do because snow tends to really add a ton of atmospheric haze and desaturate colors a great deal. Of course I punched the explodie stuff up a bit to add some intensity as otherwise they would really be washed out in the haze too. There be some bad stuff going down here. I think that truck should just turn itself around XD

*Uses fancy British Accent* What vehicle can you trust when fire rains from the sky? When the air raid sirens call, what vehicle is fast and sure footed?
Well, the Vulne Pro Range Rover Troop carrier! With plenty of room for soldiers and a few support mechs, this vehicle can get you to the front or if there has to be a strategic retreat, some distance from the fighting. A quick and comfortable ride for those who may have to give the ultimate sacrifice.
Shouldn't they be in a Vulne Pro Range Rover Troop carrier for their last moments?
Yeah, I'd say that's an apt assessment of the situation. It is something that is shocking and frightening for the populace of Polemos. What they thought the war was (FOIL warfare) will be turned on it's head. We'll leave it at that
It's ultimately a massive invasion siege event so the scale is simply devastating in scope, so yes rather dire. It will be part of a continuing escalation of events and related phenomenon that move ever forward toward the eventual conclusion. The higher the stakes the greater the drama.
