Theos environments 11 by VulnePro Theos environments 11 by VulnePro
And we return to the worlds of SOL, of Theos Ke Polemos...

This time we have a batch of rough environment shots of the architectural hall of mirrors planet Indus. There is no sky on Indus, no real ground to speak of, no natural environment, just a maze of architecture until you get to the surface, which is still artificial and only then you can see the sky... or rather space.

The top frame was based off an image of a Hong Kong alley only I did my thing of Indus-a-fying it of course. Though this is some unknown new place for humanity Indus is seemingly made up of familiar and unfamiliar architectural places from Humanities past, Polemos to a smaller degree as well.

The bottom frame is just one of many dark and gloomy places on Indus where little to no light outside hazy sodium vapor lamps, gell encased plasma neon-like signs, and dim florescent or bio-luminescent lights faintly glow.

This is not to say all of Indus is this dark noir scape but a great deal of it is. It really comes down to how populated the area in question is or how well kept up things are.

I'm a big fan of the industrial look and I think this is a great example of why I am.

My thanks. This is a project that just inspires that exploration and it comes natural to it to seek variety yet maintain coherency.

Coherency. That is a key word here. Though I have been in places where the meaning of that word seems to be unknown or was forgotten long ago.
