This guy was a cool one to do with a nice clean illo to work with pencilled by Guido Guidi. Digital colors by me. Illo from Dreamwave’s More than Meets the Eye Transformers Profile books. One of the early guys, he's on the last page of issue 1.

Nice rendition of Bruticus. He always was a cool Decepticon. Maybe we'll get to see him in Transformers 2.

Nice work on the colors. One thing though. The way the faceplate is, didn't g1 bruticus have three parts to the plate instead of two? Cause i think the two part faceplate was only a feature on G2 bruticus an onward. Anyhow could you do a G2 colored vesion of this? cause that would be so awsome.

Thank you but as you note in your comment I only did colors on this, I didn't draw the illustration. The work was done for Dreamwave comics some several years back. I'm a full time working artist so I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to do another G2 colors version of this. There are plenty of other talented Transformers artists on Deviant who likely would though :) Cheers!

It should be noted in the posting but at the time I did this piece i was using Photoshop 7.0 which is industry standard image and photo editing software. I'm now currently using Photoshop CS3 for pretty much all my work right now :)
