The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Back online after technical speed bump...

Had a week offline due to the power supply croaking on my PC so, naturally, I had to order a new one. It actually arrived sooner than I expected but i was still a week dark so after some much appreciated help from :iconmarkcdudley: in his dropping over to install the new power supply we're back up and running once again. Time to get back to work and get to some of the messages that piled up since I last posted.

Yeah, it could have been a big ass yikes if it was the motherboard or something like that. I pretty much knew it had to be the power supply so I'm glad I was right.

Thanksgiving was very nice. Low key but good food and relaxing. No complaints :)

Not a virus, just the power supply wet dead. Far more preferred problem than a virus wreaking havoc, that's for sure.
