Ola everyone!

The summer has been... hot, absurdly so, at least here ;;;@_@;;; Although I haven't posted since June I've been busy much of the summer. The record breaking heat slowed things down at times (power brownouts, lots of them, due to the awful power grid in Shelby township) none the less lots of work is kinda piling up so a postin' we shall. Should have some new TKP small arms to drop soon, along with other spiffy stuffs. Thanks to everyone for watching!

Stay tuned...
  • Listening to: Dead Can Dance 'Anastasis'
  • Reading: Internets
  • Watching: Van Damme kick people... he seems to do that.
  • Playing: Mass Effect, finally
  • Drinking: Iced Coffee

Great news, Mike! Always psyched for TKP updates. Been dying to see more stuff.

So, if you're playing Mass Effect, I assume that means you haven't played 2 or 3 yet? You're in for a treat man!

Yeah, I've been busy but just hadn't posted as much as I planned during the summer. No matter, I will be now ;)

Yes, just started the first game. I dig it overall. Kinda retro sci-fi space opera, a bit of cliche' but it's handled well so far. It was one of those games I wanted to try but just never got round to it. finally found it used crazy cheap so I grabbed it. I've also played the 360 multi demo from ME3 with :icongenocidalpenguin: so I expect I'll get that next just for multi (cause it was digital heroine) and play all the campaigns separate once I get ME2 as well. I have to finish the first game anyway as to that :)

Thanks man!

Can't actually vouch for ME1, as it never came to PS3, but ME2 & 3 are some of the finest games on the system. ME3 multi is fun, especially if you can play w/ Karl. As ever w/ multiplayer, depends on the group you play with. Some folks just can't wrap their heads around the concept of a group based objective. IMO the real joy of ME multiplayer is getting to play as other non-human species. I had built up a shotgun-toting Krogan who really wrecked shop. Couldn't dodge, but he could bull charge.

But the real pleasure of the series is to be found in the excellent story, characters, and high-end production quality. Those alien races will mean much more to you the deeper you get into the Mass Effect lore. Overall, one of the biggest joys a gamer can find.

 Any chance you've modeled your Shepherd's likeness after a TKP character?

ME1 has been enjoyable so far though it does drive me mad when I hit a spot with a whole lot 'o' dyin' and you have to keep pressing x though the damn conversation trees (no save available) to get to try again... unngh @_@ Otherwise it's pretty cool. Yeah Karl and I played that demo into the ground and a two man team and it was hard to stop playing, so I know what it's like. I'll get ME3 soon enough but I fear it... cause I actually enjoy being productive and all XD

My Shepard isn't modeled directly after a TKP character (hand't even thought of doing that really) but he does kinda look like a younger Heath Wuthering-ish [link]
